The Prettiest Girl
Have you been rejected? Do you will feel frustrated when loved one's don't understand your vision? Do you understand the power of turning negatives into positive? If you answered yes, then you need to listen to this tape, not once, but over and over again.

You mean it wasn't me. I wasn't the only one on the block getting no for an answer. You mean getting no is actually being successful. You mean to say all these great people actually weren't born famous or successful. They had to be rejected first. Boy, I wish I had bought this tape in High School. I would have asked out the prettiest girl in the class. Why didn't they teach me these lessons of life?

But it's never to late to learn and the vaccination tape will exhilerate your day. It makes for an excellent gift. No matter what profession you are pursuing, if you desire to be better, if you desire to help other's better themselves, this tape is a must in the basic curriculum of life.

Buy one today for yourself and a fellow traveler and see how the world opens before you.

the best use for under ten dollars you'll find on the topic!
I can't imagine someone NOT being willing to part with six dollars to help themselves master a fear as debilitating as the fear of rejection. Lee is a successful business man who has confronted his own fears and coached many others to do the same. He walks his talk, and his tape is down to earth, practical, and very helpful. When I was researching for my book, "Starting from No, Ten Strategies to Overcome Your Fear of Rejection and Succeed in Business" I found very few resources on the topic that were right on the money. This is one of them - invest in yourself by buying this tape.

An indispensible how-to for mlm results!
This is the stuff! The real deal! Time is the true test and this information and its presentation is the best. Quintessential self-help for the mlm neophyte or master of the universe. A must listen!

In the Snow

Wonderful story with factual information
I purchased this story to share with my preschool class, since we have 2 Chinese ESL students. While the story was not of high interest to all of the children (probably better for slightly older children), it held their attention, and the 2 Chinese boys were thrilled to see familiar faces, familiar writing, and hear familiar words. The story is about a mother and son walking in the snow. The mother teaches the child the Chinese characters for certain words by explaining how the character looks like the word it represents. It was exciting to have the boys participate in storytime and be able to teach the rest of us something! This is so important in a diverse preschool classroom - I can't wait to order more books.

Great Book for Understanding Chinese Writing!
This books provides a great introduction for students and teachers to the Chinese language.

A Wonderful Book!
I read this book last year in my class when I had a Vietnamese student . She had learned some Chinese characters from her mother and taught us how to write the characters while we celebrated Chinese and Vietnamese New Year. It was a moving experience.

The Jesus Principle: Building Churches in the Image of Christ
Published in Paperback by Clear Stream Inc. Publishing (July, 1998)
Authors: Charles R. Wade, Lee Bowman, and Carol Bowman
Average review score:

A inspiration for those of us in the Body of Christ.
A powerfull and easy to undersand book on the way to build a Jesus Church and what we can do to serve. It helped my lighthouse to grow even brighter.

A Must Read on Visionary Church Leadership
The Jesus Principle combines a biblical theology and an ecclesiology that is helpful in defining and establishing the method of operation for the church. Written by Arlington, Texas pastor, Charles Wade, the work refuses to advocate a singular method of being and doing church. Wade weaves a defining tale of the church with interesting self-disclosure and historical quotations that reinforce and illuminate the principles. This book is not touting a singular, myopic, denominational position - it is much more. Nor is it a handbook on how to be a Baptist. Wade concentrates more on the broader spectrum of "the church" as the gathered and dispersed people of God. In reading this book one is reminded of Thomas Oden's excellent theology of the church in Pastoral Theology. Oden has written relevantly to "the church" from a Methodist home base, even as Wade has done so from a Baptist perspective. Any Christian open enough to open this book can learn and grow in their practice of faith. Perhaps the two most helpful expositions in The Jesus Principle are Wade's outlines of "What is the Church?" and "Functions of the Church". He answers the nature of the church question with several descriptive images, including: People of God, Temple of God, Army of God, Bride of Christ, Ark of God and Body of Christ. His basics in the function of the church are foundational elements in any holistic congregation: worship, evangelize, disciple, minister and create fellowship. Ancient rhetorician Qunitillian said the most basic criteria for judging a speech is a good person speaking well. Although The Jesus Principle is not a spoken word, it is clear from the reading, this is a good person writing well. The Jesus Principle is a "must read." Dan Williams, Pastor of Southland Baptist Church, San Angelo, Texas. From Texas Baptist Committed Newsletter, May, 1998.

Insights on how the church can effectively reflect Christ
In The Jesus Principle, Charles Wade has written a thorough account of how the church can ever more perfectly be made to reflect the character of Christ. I can say from personal experience as a former staff minister of his church that Charles Wade practices what he preaches. His life and his church make you want to cozy up close to learn. This book brings him and the church he serves closer to us all. More important, it brings us closer to the Christ who is the sole authority for all churches. Dr. George Mason, Pastor, Wilshire Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas.

The Journey Home: The Story of Michael Thomas and the Seven Angels

Excellent
An excellent book by Kryon , the angelic energy channeled by Lee Carrol.

A story, a parabole. Michael Thomas finds himself at a crossroad and embarques onto a mythical journey where he meets seven angels of the colors of the chakras, many trials and tribulations , tears and joys. A parable of the transformation from 3-d human to human angel and the test and triumphs on the path. Lovely.

Excellent!
A powerful book. I found myself shifting as I read this book in a span of several hours. The story, so appropriate for our current time, is uplifting, thought-provoking, and touching.

Loved the book !
For those committed to the path of enlightenment, this book is essential. It contains much needed guidance for the path -- in the form of a well written, exciting parable. I very highly recommend it.

Kryon - Don't Think Like a Human: Channelled Answers to Basic Questions (Kryon Book 2)

incredibly enlightening!!
Wow! This book was perfect for me. I've always had so many questions about life. How it was before and what to expect in the future. This book answers many questions and left me hungrier than ever before in search of more information. It was an exciting read and gave me much comfort in knowing that we are truly not alone. I cannot wait to read all the other kryon books, this was my first.

Uplifting and Consistent
If you belive in somthing more in life than what you might think, the Kryon series is for you. I was so impressed in the consistency and energy in this book series that I scheduled with the author for a "at home" personal appearance. Kryon provides hope and energy for all.

A FAVORITE SERIES OF BOOKS
I've read all the Kryon books. When I read my first Kryon book it seemed a little strange. I mean channelling? Could it really be? But once I got used to the idea, I couldn't stop reading. I read the whole series (There are 8 of them). I've read many of them over again. They change me each time I read them, maybe because they are truely channelled from the other side. I find them reassuring, comforting and mind expanding...

Best study Bible!
I love this Bible - I make sure this is the Bible our church gets for our graduation gifts for the seniors every year - it's also the Bible I bought my wife. The print is clear, and it's a durable Bible with lots of accurate notes.

A wealth of info, a great buy!
This study Bible is one of the best versions out there. It is very easy to follow and understand. It has outlines and footnotes that allow you to apply each verse to everyday life.

BEST STUDY BIBLE AVAILABLE
I am a Seminary student and have gone through many study bibles. However, this work by W.A. Criswell is by far the best in the business.

Imagery on Fabric: A Complete Surface Design Handbook
Published in Paperback by C & T Pub (November, 1997)
Authors: Jean Ray Laury, Lee Jonsson, and Sally Lanzarotti
Average review score:

Very helpful for all fabric work w/ very good illustrations
This book is a very good guide to all sorts of transfer methods on fabric for any kind of fabric work. It is very user friendly because the wording is clear and concise with very good full color examples that go along with the text. Troubleshooting hints are included with each method as well a lot of other useful hints. The examples and pictures of the actual work are very helpful in that they show many different applications of each technique and really help to get you thinking of ways to be able to further play with and modify the methods shown. Also, it is very clearly laid out into categories per chapter that make it very easy to use as a quick reference. A reference chart is included in the book telling the basic overview of each technique with information concerning the permanence of the method, fabric types recommended for each method, as well as many other useful info that really make this book very easy to use and covers the basics of most any kind of transfer method you could need. I originally had to buy this book for a fibers class I was taking but it has been more helpful after the class ended because it really was a very easy to use by being very easy to quickly reference with it's clear layout and detailed description of all of the advantages and disadvantages of each of the methods clearly labeled. It is a very good book and would recommend it to anyone interested in any kind of quilt or fabric work.

Imagery on Fabric
After seeing the demonstration today on the Carol Duval Show on HGTV, I am definitely ordering this book! What intersting ideas for quilting fabric! Loved it!

Fiber Artist's Bible
From high tech computer photo transfer to the ancient art of leaf hammering, this book is a comprehensive presentation of fabric manipulation and imagery. Avoiding the "cutesy" trap of so many crafts books, this volume is sophisticated and will be useful to artists and crafters of many styles and sensibilities.

Imagery on Fabric is smartly organized by method, rather than individual project, allowing for much more creativity from the reader. Each process is thoroughly explained and accompanied by fabulous photos of work by professional fiber artists as well as hobbyists. Laury also includes a useful list of resources for the various products and equipment that she discusses in her book.

When I bought this book I was just fiddling with fabric and art quilts. Laury and her book singlehandedly motivated me to fully embrace fiber arts as an exciting means of artistic expression.

Introductory Late Egyptian (Hieratic Paloegraphy 1)
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and cannot wait for the others in the series. It makes a big step in de-mystifying hieratic.

Hieratic should be this SIMPLE
I always wondered why hieratic was considered so hard by Egyptologists when it was, after all, the way all Egyptian scribes wrote! Prof. Gosline has finally solved the mystery of how to decode the system of this ancient writing. It is like finding a new Rosetta Stone!

Fantastic Introduction to Egyptian Handwriting
Look no further than this book for an explination of how ancient Egyptians wrote!

A trip down memory lane.
A very good book to pick up, especially after a busy day in our fast paced society. Read and let it drift you back to another time. Many of us can easily relate to this book as we have all been through it one way or another. Funny at times and nostalgic it is a very good job by an author who should feel proud of her heritage and accomplishment. The reader should thank her for sharing these times and insights with her. Mothers and grandmaothers take note of this one. It will make a beautiful gift for any teenager. Thank you, Mary Potts Fluharty

Reminder of my childhood in central West Virginia
"Jimmie Lee" reminds me of many things in my early years living on a central West Virginia farm. I also did chores morning and evening, carring water to the fields for workers, and later worked with them. The Author captured the spirit of the time during and after the depression. I can relate to some of the trouble in which Jimmie Lee and friends got involved. I recommend the book to those with a like background and to those who want to to get an idea of that period of time and the hardships the people endured.

One of the BEST books I ever read!!!
Extremely funny ! Only wish I could have been envolved in some of the times. Must have been lots of fun to write. Only hope another book follows!!

Kenpo physics : "the science of motion"
Published in Paperback by Bachman Pub (01 May, 1999)
Authors: Lee Bachman and Lee A. Bachman
Average review score:

The Physics of Kenpo are in your hands
Kenpo Physics is a good book. Once again Mr. Bachman has show his desire to expose the reader to a vast array of areas in Kenpo. It covers a plethora topics as is Mr. Bachman's way, touch on them just enough to make you want learn more. It is filled with photos to illustrate points as well as formulas that give you another way to visualize his points. The areas of the books that I found particularly interesting were the Blending of Components, Rhythm Adjustment of Movement, Memorizing Through Visualization and Practical Application of Extremities. There were also some areas that I didn't quite understand. I e-mailed Mr. Bachman and he promptly dropped me a line and cleared them right up. I think this one is worth checking out also.

KENPO PHYSICS ISBN 0-9652672-6-1
Mr. Bachman demonstrates HOW and WHY the Kenpo techniques work. I find this book valuable for all who study the Art of Kenpo. Lee breaks down a simple technique into primary and secondary movements and then manipulates these variables. I never considered Delayed Sword in this perspective. This is just one small aspect of this book. Some of my other favorite subjects are visual perception, baiting and the morphing of moves.

Kenpo Physics
Lee out did himself when he wrote this book. He really goes into detail when he explains formulating a technique. My favorite section is on visual perception. Understanding angling and proper timing helps improve my Kenpo skill. I've studied under Lee for over 10 years and I find this book a necessity for your Kenpo studies. It's one of my favorites.
